This is an attractive, well-organized nonfiction series that explores a variety of STEM fields. Each book has four main divisions: an explanation of each field of science, its history, possible careers, and what the future will bring in each area of study. Pictures, graphs, and sidebars complement the text and help the reader learn more about the topic. Each title also includes “Fast Facts” and “Stop and Think” questions to lead to deeper exploration that could be used in class discussions. These books would serve as a great reference in both the exploration of science and in career studies. Recommended.
