Editorial Review
Edible Wild Plants
Camping and hiking are popular activities, and Edible Wild Plants (Douglas Darnowski, Abdo, 2025, 112 pages, $32.95) is a wonderful book to have on the trip. Light enough to fit in a backpack, the contents can provide an interesting addition to your adventure. The contents are divided into flowers; fruits; greens; herbs and spices; nuts and seeds; and roots, tubers and bulbs. Each page features one plant with a description, color photo, information on how to spot the plant and occasional fun facts.
