Nutty Goodness Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
• 9-inch uncooked pie crust (purchased or homemade)
• ½ cup butter
• 2 eggs, at room temperature
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup white sugar
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1½ cups chopped pecans

• large mixing bowl

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Place the pie crust in the pie plate. Press lightly to fit it into the bottom of the plate. Trim the edge evenly around the pie plate. Pinch the edge to form a rim around the pie.
3. Use a fork to poke some holes in the bottom of the pie crust.
4. Melt the butter in the microwave.
5. Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl. Beat them with a hand mixer. When the eggs are foamy, mix in the butter. Add the brown sugar, white sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
6. Add the pecans. Gently stir them into the mixture.
7. Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn the oven temperature down to 300 degrees. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until firm.
