Readers will learn about atoms, elements, reactions and mixtures. Captions on the images offer additional information and glossary terms appear in bold within the text. Each book ends with a pair of experiments. A large-scale photo accompanies the explanation of the chemical process(es) that will be seen, while smaller thumbnails are part of the directions.
