The six graphic novels in the series complete the story and cover a wide variety of lessons valuable to any reader: survival, harmony with nature, learning to defend yourself, standing up for your beliefs, and even sacrificing for a cause. This well-paced story is begging for a film adaptation. VERDICT This series offers a glimpse at a society that functions well with all kinds of different creatures working together for the common good.
